This Privacy Policy describes how Zilla Trainer ("Zilla," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our fitness coaching platform at zillatrainer.com.
Account information: When you register, we collect your email address, name, and user type (trainer, athlete, or organization). Trainers may also provide business details and profile information for their public profile page.
Training data: The platform stores training programs, session logs, exercise data, workout history, and coaching notes that you or your trainer create.
Health and fitness data: This may include bodyweight, body measurements, nutrition plans, and fitness test results. This data is provided voluntarily and is used solely to deliver the coaching service.
Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details. We receive transaction identifiers, subscription status, and billing amounts from Paddle.
Usage data: We collect standard web analytics: pages visited, features used, device type, browser, and IP address. This helps us improve the platform.
Communications: Messages sent through Zilla's chat system are stored to provide the messaging service and are accessible to the conversation participants.

Between trainers and clients: Training data, session logs, and chat messages are shared between trainers and their assigned clients as part of the coaching relationship.

Infrastructure providers: We use Cloudflare R2 for media storage and Railway for application hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
We retain your account data and training history for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records). Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.
We protect your data using industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, session management, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
